/01 What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser when you visit it. They remember information between visits (language, signed-in session, preferences) or help the site work correctly.
In addition, this site may use similar technologies such as:
- Local storage: browser storage that holds user preferences (more persistent than cookies).
- Session storage: temporary storage that lasts only for the active browser session.
- Pixels and tags: invisible images that send data to a server when you load a page. We do not use third-party advertising pixels.
// FIRST-PARTY VS THIRD-PARTY
A first-party cookie is set by the site you're visiting (in this case, xxdisruptiveminds.com). A third-party cookie is set by another domain (for example, google.com loaded inside a page). This site prioritizes first-party cookies and limits third-party cookies to the essentials (Cloudflare for security, Google Fonts for typography).
/02 Types of cookies we use
2.1 Strictly necessary cookies (technical)
These cookies are essential for the site to function and can't be turned off. They store no personally identifiable data. They include:
- Session cookies that remember you started an inquiry (for example, keeping your progress if you fill out the form across multiple steps).
- Cloudflare security cookies that detect bots and protect against attacks.
- Cookies for your language preference or the site's visual theme.
2.2 Performance and analytics cookies
We use Plausible Analytics, a privacy-friendly alternative to Google Analytics that uses no cookies and collects no personal data. Plausible is privacy-first by design. The information we receive is aggregated and anonymous:
- Number of visits per page
- Traffic source (referrer)
- Visitor country (country level, not city)
- Device type (mobile/desktop/tablet)
- Average time on page
Plausible uses no cookies, does not track individuals, and does not share data with third parties. More details at plausible.io/data-policy.
2.3 Marketing and advertising cookies
// WE DO USE A MARKETING PIXEL
xxdisruptiveminds.com loads the Meta (Facebook) Pixel to measure ad performance and conversions. We do not run Google Ads, LinkedIn, TikTok, or other ad-network trackers, and we use no advertising cookies for retargeting beyond the Meta Pixel. If we add any additional advertising trackers in the future, we'll update this policy.
2.4 Social functionality cookies
When we embed external content (for example, a YouTube video or a Google Calendar booking link), those services may set their own cookies in your browser. We don't control those cookies. If this concerns you, avoid interacting with external widgets.

/05 How to manage cookies
You have full control over the cookies in your browser. You can block them, delete them, or ask to be warned before they're stored. Keep in mind that blocking strictly necessary cookies may affect how the site works.
5.1 The site's cookie banner
The first time you visit xxdisruptiveminds.com, a discreet banner appears where you can:
- Accept all cookies (technical + Plausible analytics).
- Reject optional cookies and keep only the strictly necessary ones.
- Customize your selection category by category.
Your choice is stored in the xxdm_consent cookie for 12 months. To change it later, delete that cookie or use the "Cookie preferences" link in the site footer.
5.2 From your browser
Every browser lets you manage cookies from its settings. Follow the official guides:
5.3 Incognito or private mode
If you visit the site in incognito/private mode, cookies are deleted automatically when you close the window. Remember this also clears your visual and consent preferences — the banner will reappear on every visit.
/06 Do Not Track (DNT)
Some browsers send a Do Not Track (DNT) signal with every request, indicating that the user does not want to be tracked.
We honor the DNT signal: if your browser sends it, we don't load Plausible Analytics or any optional cookies, regardless of your choice in the banner. Strictly necessary cookies still load because they're indispensable to running the site.
To enable DNT, check your browser's documentation. The signal is an industry standard (not specific to XXDM) and many sites ignore it — we honor it on principle, not legal obligation.
/07 Consent
By continuing to browse xxdisruptiveminds.com after seeing the cookie banner, you give your implied consent to the use of strictly necessary cookies and, depending on your choice, to Plausible Analytics and other optional categories.
Consent can be withdrawn at any time in the following ways:
- By clicking "Cookie preferences" in the site footer.
- By deleting the
xxdm_consent cookie manually in your browser.
- By configuring your browser to block cookies from the xxdisruptiveminds.com domain.
/08 Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated when:
- We add or remove third-party services that use cookies.
- Applicable regulations change.
- We change our tracking practices.
Versions stay visible with their number and date at the top of this page. Material changes are announced via a banner on the site for at least 30 days after the change.
For questions about this policy, email us at privacy@xxdisruptiveminds.com. To learn how we handle your personal data in general, see our Privacy Policy.
